If you are going to create your website from this page, please either bookmark it now, or start a new tab to work from. To start a new tab highlight the address above and Ctrl C (Holding the Ctrl down then clicking the V key) to copy the address of this page. Then File>New Tab. This will start a new tab across the top of the page. When it comes up you then click on the address bar once more and Ctrl V to paste the address in the address bar. Now you can click back and forth while creating your site.
Please take note: There are are places during this process that take up to 48 hours to complete. This is unavoidable but at least you know this is normal.
1. The first thing you must do to create your own website is to select a name for your site. On your new tab page click on the banner at the top of the page, or the "Quick Shop Catalog" banner at the bottom. We could put a link here, but you need to learn your way around this site for you will be using it often.
In the middle of the page you will see the Start a Domain Name Search. put the name you would like to use in this space. You don't need to put http:// in this space, only the name. Click Go.
Remember: Just because your name is already used doesn't mean you can't make subtle changes such are this site the-business-park using the - sign. Once you have a name that isn't used you are ready for the next step.

This page allows you to select all the things you would like to do with your website. There are so many variations of .com, you have to study hard at this spot to determine just how you want to proceed. By selecting all of the options you are saving your name under all categories, but this may not be what you need in your business. Some of the selections are for organizations designated .org, for example, and your site may not ever fit into this category.
At the bottom of the page you will find all the Free Extras that come with your site.
Please take note here: The above action in your site creation can take as much as 48 hours to complete. You will need to keep putting your newly purchased name into the address bar until you get a "Welcome Page". This will let you know your site is ready for you to create your pages.
3. We don't know your expertise around the internet, novice or expert, but this will determine what you do next. If you don't know a thing about how to create a website we suggest you go to the page in # 1 and hold you mouse over the "Build A Website" and select "Website Tonight" This is a charge to you, but it is well worth the expenditure and is very simple to use and can have you fully up and running quiclky.
| Creating your website is as individual as the person creating it. It needs to present your products to your customers in a way that will capture them and show them they are at the right place. You would not eat at a dirty restaurant, nor buy a car from a shady looking lot, the same rules apply to your web design.
