Getting into play mode with your money and business

If you read the article on
business income strategies
and are thinking "Gosh this looks like a lot of work!", you are right
and you're also wrong. Yes, it's work, but you are already doing work.
This is a different kind of work that will produce different results. It
can also be a lot of fun (if you want!). Here are some questions to ask
yourself to spark your creativity:
-
- What do I love talking to
people about or working on? This is a hint towards the kind of
information you'd have fun giving away for free and would make a
good website or newsletter. The most successful small AdSense
websites are hobby sites-things people have a passion for and
naturally want to share their knowledge about. There is an energy in
sharing something you love that is naturally attractive.
-
- What do I keep doing over and
over in my business? Could I streamline it so I could make a system
once and then re-use it?
-
- Are there any particular kinds
of clients that have a similar set of needs? Could I offer them a
particular package or system that would meet most of those needs?
-
- Are there questions I get
asked over and over-areas of knowledge in my field that are
confusing to most people? Could I write an ebook or series of
articles explaining it in clear terms?
-
- Are there any products or
services my clients often need in addition to mine? Research
possible affiliate or commission opportunities.
-
- Do you have access to a
network of people that you can promote products to? Who would pay
you to sell their products to the people you know? Or just for the
opportunity to reach them?
Focus on the
concepts first before the
strategies. The hardest
part will be to shift your thinking. Once you get the power of your
imagination behind these concepts, you will be amazed at what you come
up with. Trust yourself that you can learn this if you want to. Use what you know. Many people do real estate as a form of passive
income. Work with what you know in your business. You can do it starting
with your own knowledge base by beginning to think creatively. Start
asking yourself what opportunities exist and what can be created in the
area you are already involved in, with the knowledge you already have.
Focus on the ideas that are exciting
and interesting to you. Don't worry about the parts that feel heavy and
complicated and hard. Focus on anything that feels playful and abundant
and go with that!
